SJHS ANNOUNCEMENTS (September 23, 2009)

1. Food sale on Friday, September 25, 2009. All meals are $6.00 which includes a drink. Lunch will be extended by 15 minutes

a. 1st lunch - 11:00am– 12:00pm
b. 2nd lunch – 12:00pm – 1:00pm
c. Period 6 will begin at 12:00 and end at 1:00pm
d. Period 7 will begin at 1:00pm and end at 1:29pm for all students.
e. Students who do not wish to participate in the food sale, school lunch will be available in the cafeteria.

2. Junior Class Mod Day – Homeroom teachers will collect money and send to office. Anyone who violates the dress code will be sent home.

3. Early Dismissal – September 29, 2009 @ 1:00pm. Please have your parents pick you up at the designated time.

4. Progress Reports will be distributed after school today (Wednesday, September 23, 2009). Notices have gone out to parents indicating this information.

5. Initial plans are in the works for a Children’s Fun Day & Talent Show slated for late November. Proceeds will benefit the class of 2010 and the school.

6. Intro Night for the class of 2010 will be Saturday, October 3, 2009. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased from any senior.

7. St. Joseph Saturday Academy begins Saturday, October 10, 2009. This academy is for SAT preparation and Math & Science enrichment. Registration forms can be picked up in the main office. Space is limited.

8. The VI Police Department is proud to announce the recruitment of students who are interested in law enforcement. Male and females between the ages of 16 & 19 are encouraged to apply. Please see Ms. Miranda before school, during lunch, and after school to sign-up.

9. Oct/Nov SAT fee waivers are available, please see Mr. Ferris. Seniors please pick-up information packets in Mr. Ferris’ office.
