2) Go the Welcome Page for the National Radio Astronomy Observatory (NRAO) Very Long Baseline Array (VLBA) at

virtual tour of the antenna sites

and spend a longer time on the St. Croix VLBA site that you will be visiting on Dec.2. Write 1/2 side or more of notes about what you learned. You may include questions that you can ask on the field trip.

Make Your Own Radio Image

Look at this page and make your own radio image by using the pixel sheet provided by the teacher. There are six "pixels" from "0" to "5" Choose 6 pencils each with a different number and assign only one color to one pixel number. For example: 0 = black, 1 = red, 2 = blue, 3 =green, 4 = yellow, 5 = violet. All pixel squares should be filled-in.

7) If you have time left over after doing Obj. P-80, you can add some notes to it by going to "My Teacher's Favorites" at scilinks.
