Welcome to the St. Joseph Catholic High School website, the first school website on St. Croix, Virgin Islands. It was started on August 31, 1996 and has been continuously updated since that time and most of the original pages are still online. It has been looked at by over 128, 595 visitors from all over the world!

Because the center was far away, Hurricane Earl did little damage at St. Joseph Catholic High School at its peak approach during the afternoon of August 30, 2010. However, there were higher winds and rainfall that can be seen in the 2 minutes and 35 seconds flash video which is available from the link below.

In the picture below on the right, Fr. John Mark, the President of the School, leads the students with a morning prayer in the library at St. Joseph Catholic High School on St. Croix. The prayers are on laminated prayer cards which are also used for the end of the day prayers in the classrooms. Below on the left, Mrs. Deborah Skalkos, Head of the School, is shown collecting the prayer cards at the end of the morning prayer. During the day, each class begins with a prayer. Prayer is one of the essential elements at St. Joseph Catholic High School.
