Forty -one years ago on the island of St. Croix,
Something happened that would bring much joy,
It was an event which was very cool,
For It was the start of St. Joseph High School.

Students came from the east and from the west,
They all were looking for the very best,
And they found it at St. Joseph High School,
Which is St. Croix's academic jewel.

Saints we are and saints we want to be,
At St. Joseph High School surrounded by the sea,
Saints we are and saints we want to be,
Seeking knowledge and virtue to its highest degree.

St. Joseph students are yearning to learn,
And they are fullfilling their yearn,
To discover the subjects of religion, math, and English,
And to learn physics. chemistry, and Spanish.

St. Joseph High School students pursue activities and sports,
To be able to go beyond the grades on their reports,
To excel at Jets, soccer, tennis, volleyball, and basketball,
And to enrich their lives and achieve the largest haul.

Seeking knowledge and virtue to its highest degree.

 A few years ago, hurricane hugo blew the school down,
And for a short while it was really a time to frown,
But up from the ruins rose St. Joseph High,
To keep up its educational excellence on St. Croix, VI.

St. Joseph High School graduates have become lawyers and doctors,
and also engineers, pilots, and senators,
Because achieving excellence is the school's important goal,
Facilitating the education of the body, mind and soul.

After spending their time aquiring the needed knowledge,
St. Joseph High School students continue to learn at college,
For education is a life long pursuit,
Growing in experience and taking life's best route.

St. Joseph students not only learn each subject,
But they also learn how to treat themselves and each other with respect,
For knowledge without virtue is an empty thing,
Which won't result in the happiness that life can bring.
